The first church met on the first day of the week—Sunday, the day our Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead. At the center of our worship services is the Word of God. We read it together and listen to sermons prepared from it. This teaching explains the truths of Scripture and calls us to live them out. Our Sunday gatherings also include singing songs rooted in biblical truth and offering prayers to our God.

We also practice:
- Baptism
We believe and practice that baptism—immersing a person in water—should take place when they have put their trust in Jesus Christ, who paid the penalty for all their sins on the cross, and desire to submit their life to Him.
- The Eucharist
On the first Sunday of each month, we share bread and wine in remembrance of the death of Jesus Christ, just as He Himself commanded His disciples at the Last Supper.
