In 1927, meetings were held in an apartment at Wilhelmsplatz 4 (today\u2019s Plac Kopernika). From 1928 to 1929, believers gathered at Kr\u00e4uterstrasse 26 (now Spychalskiego Street) in the home of a man named Krumm. During the final two years of the station\u2019s activity (1930\u20131931), the congregation met in an apartment at Sternstrasse 49 (today Reymonta Street).<\/p>\n<p>Baptists were also present in other towns throughout the Opole region. You can read more about this history\u2014both in the German era and in the years that followed\u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zrodlozyciaopole.pl\/en\/baptysci-na-opolszczyznie\/\">TUTAJ<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It was only in 2005 that the Baptist community in Opole came to life again, through the dedication of the \u015anie\u017cko, Cannon, and McMaster families. Soon after, the congregation came under the care of the Second Baptist Church in Wroc\u0142aw. In 2008, the church adopted the name Wsp\u00f3lnota 180\u00b0 (\u201c180\u00b0 Community\u201d).\n\nThe very first service was held on October 30, 2005, in the home of the McMaster family in the Grudzice district. Regular weekly services began in the fall of 2006 and took place in the Provincial Public Library at 20 Piastowska Street, where the church met until October 2009. For the following year, the gathering place was the NOT building at 50 Katowicka Street. Then, in August 2010, the community moved into a meeting space at 20 Sienkiewicza Street (rear building), where services continued.<\/p>\n<p>The church\u2019s first pastor was Pawe\u0142 Ko\u0142odziejczak, ordained on June 8, 2008. On October 4, 2015, the congregation became an independent Baptist church under the name Source of Life Baptist Church (Ko\u015bci\u00f3\u0142 Chrze\u015bcijan Baptyst\u00f3w \u201e\u0179r\u00f3d\u0142o \u017bycia\u201d w Opolu). Since June 2021, the church has been pastored by Grzegorz Jaeger.\n\nOver the course of 20 years, 32 people have been baptized into the fellowship of the church\u2014a testimony to God\u2019s grace at work in Opole.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Historia baptyst\u00f3w w Opolu si\u0119ga lat 20.
